Description
Iolites are so unique because while they on the surface look blue/purple, as you turn them they can appear to be grey. They can be compared to tanzanites in color, but are harder on the mohs scale.
The chic iolite cluster necklace has 7 square stones and 4 uniquely cut pear shape stones in a prong setting. All the stones are untreated and total ctw is 2.4. The sterling silver necklace has a 16 inch chain with a 2 in extender. There are earrings and a ring to match in my shop.
There is only one of this necklace and only one ever made. You will truly have a one-of-kind piece with this necklace.

**In the photograph of the Iolite set, the earrings and ring are sold separately.
What makes this special? The feel of the entire iolite set is made to be dainty, intertwined, clustered and coupled. Iolites are not rare, but this setting is. Eleven tiny iolite stones are connected to each other with silver links that allow flexibility. The four pear stones are nearly in the shape of tiny hearts and the square stones around them are like floating stars.
